What is your current mood in your business? Is it moving forward or is it feeling kind of stuck?
I think there are seasons in business and sometimes we just need to talk it through with someone else. Maybe you have that one person who gets to hear all your thoughts on your business and they listen with an open heart and mind. Perhaps though this feels like you are in a pool all alone trying to figure out which way to swim.
I think for me it is both ways. I have people I talk to about about business but I also have people in my life that are just in a different space and time that my brain that is going 100 miles an hour. I feel like as someone who is a born entrepreneur it really takes a village of entrepreneurs to move us forward. The rest of the world just doesn’t always understand why we want to create all this on our own and take ahold of the different parts of running a business and making it work. Sounds like a crazy pastime to most but to us who live in this world it feels normal.
It is time to find you people. Keep the other people in your world close..you need them for all the other parts of life and you need people who get you!
If you could create a group of people who would support you in this adventure what would they do? What skills would they have? What would you turn over to them to help you grow and what would you keep as your own to do?
Here are some ideas to start with when you are testing the water with a virtual assistant:
➡️ Data Entry:
- Delegate data entry tasks such as updating spreadsheets, databases, or CRM systems.
- Ensure that the instructions and data are clear to minimize errors.
➡️ Internet Research:
- Assign research tasks to gather information on specific topics.
- Compile research findings into a summarized report or document.
- Provide guidelines on the sources and criteria for collecting data.
➡️ Social Media Management:
- Have your virtual assistant schedule posts on your social media accounts.
- Respond to comments and messages according to pre-approved guidelines.
- Monitor social media analytics and provide regular reports.
